Once you have joined Payataxi, you will be given a Taxi ID number, so you can login and access our Virtual Terminal. The Virtual Terminal is a secure web page designed for taking card payments. Simply enter the details of the booking and the credit or debit card information and submit the transaction for authorisation. You will receive an immediate response authorising (or declining) the payment and you can also choose to send your customer an automated email acknowledgement of the transaction.
Payments by 3G mobile phone are taken by accessing our mobile website at www.payataxi.mobi. This page has been optimised for viewing on devices including the iPhone, iPad, Blackberry, HTC phones and Android devices. Simply enter the details into the mobile device and submit for authorisation. You will receive an immediate response authorising (or declining) the transaction and you can choose to send your customer an automated email acknowledgement of the transaction.
Passengers can also make a payment by calling our 24 hour payment line or by accessing our mobile website at www.payataxi.mobi. Details are then provided to our operator or entered directly by your passenger. Confirmation of payment is provided to your passenger and we send instant confirmation by SMS to your mobile phone.
Transactions are settled directly to your bank account. We calculate settlement amounts every Thursday for transactions up to the preceding Friday and settle to your account the next day. This means that settlement to you is between 6 and 13 days after the transaction.

We will provide an immediate response to your application. Our Customer Services team will then review your application and we will advise you of your acceptance to the service within three working days. In some cases we are able to provide an instant approval.
Once you’ve been accepted onto the service, we send you an email with a link to activate your account and an SMS message containing a 4 digit PIN. Enter the PIN on the activation page and that’s it. You can immediately start accepting card payments. We’ll send you a welcome pack with some additional information and materials to make card acceptance even easier.
